My children's weekly menu are never without shrimp dishes. You can prepare shrimp dishes in a number of ways, either with lots of garlic or with lots of cheese. Since my kids love cheese (who doesn't?) and they have yet to acquire the taste of garlic (except in their toasted bread), I often spice up their fave dishes with cheese. Two of their favorites are the cheese sticks and the cheese shrimp.
Ingredients
1/4 kg shrimps
1 small glove of garlic, minced
2 small pieces of shallots, sliced
40 grams Kraft Eden cheese, grated
a pinch of salt
a pinch of pepper
Sauté garlic and shallots, stir them a bit then add medium-sized shrimps. Let it simmer. Add a pinch of salt, and then pepper. When the shrimps turn orange, add the grated cheese. After 10 minutes, the cheesy shrimps are cooked. Place the cheesy shrimps on a plate, ready to serve.
For garnishing, you may add some more grated cheese on top and string onions.
